Baptisms and Confirmations

In March and April, two parishes in the diocese reported baptisms; one also had adult confirmations.

St. Matthew’s Newport Beach

At the Easter Vigil March 30, St. Matthew’s baptized six children into the Church. Bp. Scarlett also confirmed six adults into the diocese, and received one other adult into the Anglican church. This was in addition to an infant baptism on February 4, just before Ash Wednesday.

St. Mary’s Denver

At St. Mary’s, Fr. Kevin Bell baptized two adults into the Church, one on March 17 (the feast of St. Patrick) and one on April 7 (the first Sunday after Easter).
